Let me start off by saying that none of these reviews even shed a glimmer of light on how truly astounding Catherine is.

Catherine worked with my husband and me for almost a year and a half while we looked for a house! If I had to put a number on it, we probably looked at 100+ homes. That being  said, it was not by any means Catherine’s fault that we were looking for this long, or at that many; we’re very picky people and we wanted to find the perfect, historic fixer-upper (if there ever was one) on the market. We had four Lafayette realtors before her and I was almost at my breaking point with house-hunting. Much to my relief, we met Catherine and we fell in love with her passion immediately. We had house-showings with her almost routinely, sometimes looking at a house two and three times over. During this time, Catherine got to know us very well. She knew exactly what we were looking for and would give us advice on each house based on our styles and needs. Due to my husband’s work schedule we were frantically setting up showings, but she pulled them through every time; almost always at a moment’s notice and sometimes only a few hours ahead of time. When it came down to buying, it seemed as though my husband and I were making our decision an hour too late. Every. Time. But she stuck it out with us; every bid, every loss, every pull-out. After what seemed like forever, we found a house. Catherine was just as excited about this house as we were; she invests herself in her clients so much deeper than other realtors you’ll find. As soon as we walked up to the house I knew I wanted it. Everything about this house was perfect. She wrote up a bid for us and we went back and forth with the seller a few times, but Catherine held our bid strong and they accepted! Now it’s time for the hard part: closing. The seller of our house was a complete pain in the rear to be honest. When Catherine sent our agreement, the seller countered with a 60-page agreement saying the exact same thing, in her own words. This seemed to be a recurring theme, but Catherine didn’t break her professional attitude even once and took care of every last detail for us. It was so stress-free that we barely felt like we were buying a house! We experienced terrible realtors so that you, as a buyer or a seller, don’t have to. Catherine handled the sale of my house. She was stellar---she exceeded my highest expectations.

Since I do not know the real estate market and since this was the first time I was selling a house, I relied on her for advice on all aspects of the process, including pricing. Before hiring her, I  interviewed several other real estate agents. In the end, the amount for which my house was sold was higher than the initial listing price proposed by other agents---and Catherine managed to get it done in under four months total time from listing to closing. I was away for most of this time, and Catherine handled everything. When the eventual buyer demanded improvements and wouldn't settle for a reduced sale price, Catherine supervised the required improvements. There were several other difficulties caused by the buyer which Catherine handled with grace and to my complete satisfaction. Throughout the entire process---listing, showing, inspection, negotiations with the buyer, repairs, preparation for closing, Catherine was always helpful and very responsive---all my emails and text messages would be answered very quickly, regardless of the hours or whether it was during a weekday or weekend.
